How To Activate Your Key

Step-by-step activation for every brand we sell. It usually takes less than five minutes.

THREE SIMPLE STEPS

From Inbox To Protected

1. Find Your Key

Open the KeyGuard delivery email. Your license key and a link to the publisher’s activation page are inside. Check spam/junk if you don’t see it.

2. Redeem On The Official Site

Go to the publisher’s activation page, sign in or create a free account, and paste your key exactly as written.

3. Install On Your Devices

Download the software from your publisher account and install it on each device covered by your plan.

Activation by brand

1. Norton

Go to norton.com/setup, sign in to (or create) your Norton account, enter your 25-character product key, then download and install Norton on each device from your account.

2. McAfee

Go to mcafee.com/activate, enter your 25-character activation code, sign in to (or create) your McAfee account, then download and install the software on your devices.

3. Malwarebytes

Download Malwarebytes from malwarebytes.com and install it. Open the app, choose Activate license (or sign in to your Malwarebytes account) and enter your license key.

4. WatchDog

Download WatchDog Anti-Virus or Anti-Malware from watchdogdevelopment.com, install it, then open the program and enter your license key in the activation screen.

5. Microsoft Office

Go to setup.office.com, sign in with your Microsoft account, enter your product key, and Office is added to your account. Then install it from your Microsoft account page.

Before you start

Remove old trials. If another antivirus or a pre-installed trial is on the device, uninstall it first. Two security programs running together can block installation.
Check the region. Some keys are sold for a specific region (for example USA/Canada or UK/Europe). The region is listed in the product name.
Copy and paste the key instead of typing it, to avoid confusing letters such as O and 0, or I and 1.
Use the same account on every device so all your installations appear in one place with the publisher.

Common problems

“Key not valid”: check for extra spaces and make sure you are on the right publisher’s website. A Norton key cannot be used on McAfee’s site, for example.
“Key already used”: if you haven’t used it before, contact us with your order number straight away.
“Wrong region”: contact us before trying again and we’ll help you.
